The 3Re Framework: Relevance. Resonance. Reaction.

The 3Re Framework provides a structured approach for analyzing and developing effective content. It was designed to systematically assess the quality and impact of digital content. The model is based on three core dimensions of effectiveness:

  • Relevance refers to the alignment of content with the life realities, needs, and expectations of the target audience. It is the prerequisite for capturing attention and establishing meaningful engagement.
  • Resonance describes the emotional and cognitive feedback that content elicits in its audience. Resonance arises through narrative quality, authenticity, and semantic or visual elements that enable a personal connection.
  • Reaction refers to the intended behavior or attitude triggered by the content — whether it’s a click, a conversational impulse, or a change in behavior. Reaction serves as a measurable indicator of effectiveness.

This framework serves as a practical tool for conceptually grounding content strategies — especially at the intersection of information, communication, and activation.

The Dopamine Framework: Neuropsychological Principles in Content Design

The Dopamine Framework is an interdisciplinary model at the intersection of neuroscience, media psychology, and digital brand communication. Its goal is to develop content formats that are neuropsychologically effective — particularly in terms of attention, motivation, and memory retention.

The framework is built around the following key principles:

  • Curiosity and Anticipation: Content is designed to create a tension of expectation that stimulates cognitive activation.
  • Reward Mechanisms: Users receive immediate or delayed cognitive “rewards” — such as surprising insights, humorous moments, or personally relevant content.
  • Emotional Encoding: Emotions act as amplifiers for memory and evaluation — triggered through visual, linguistic, or narrative elements.
  • Interactivity: The ability to influence or respond enhances the user’s sense of control and involvement.
  • Recurrence: Repeated structures, formats, or themes help foster habitual engagement and long-term recall.

The Dopamine Framework thus provides a scientifically grounded foundation for creating content experiences that not only inform, but also leave a lasting impression.
